Romantic drama starring Phoebe Thomas as Jemima, a young
schoolteacher who decides to re-build a children's arts centre, The
Art Factory, that she originally set up with her late brother,
James. When Jemima meets the handsome and wealthy Michael (Matthew
Chambers) she asks for his help in raising enough money to keep the
Factory open. However, after being humiliated on television by
Michael's girlfriend, Veronica (Julia Verdin), Jemima resorts to
extreme measures to keep the arts centre open.
The mysterious Doctor and his grandaughter Susan are joined by
unwilling adventurers Ian Chesterton and Barbara Wright in an epic
struggle for survival on an alien planet. In a vast metal city they
discover the survivors of a terrible nuclear war - the Daleks. Held
captive in the deepest levels of the city, can the Doctor and his
new companions stop the Daleks' plan to totally exterminate their
mortal enemies, the peace-loving Thals? More importantly, even if
they can escape from the Daleks, will Ian and Barbara ever see
their home planet Earth again? This novel is based on the second
Doctor Who story which was originally broadcast from 21 December
1963-1 February 1964. Featuring the First Doctor as played by
William Hartnell, and his companions Susan, Ian and Barbara
This is a dramatic reinvention of the very first Doctor Who novel
from 1963 and the hundreds of novels that followed, but few can
claim to have surpassed its powerful storytelling and unique
atmosphere. Written by Doctor Who's first story editor, David
Whitaker and lavishly illustrated by acclaimed comic book artist
Robert Hack. Adapted from Terry Nation's first Dalek story, DOCTOR
WHO AND THE DALEKS sees Ian Chesterton and Barbara Wright caught up
in the flight through time and space of the mysterious Doctor and
his granddaughter Susan. They travel in the TARDIS to the planet
Skaro, where they strive to save the peace-loving Thals from the
evil intentions of the hideous Daleks. Can they succeed? And if
they do, will Ian and Barbara ever again see their native Earth?
This is the ultimate edition of an iconic novel - a deluxe volume
that embraces both proud tradition and modern innovation to present
the drama of a Dalek dystopia as you've never seen it before...

Martin Clunes and Keeley Hawes star in this made-for-TV crime drama
based on the true story of the 1940s serial killer John George
Haigh. After mistakenly believing a Latin term to mean that murder
can only be proven with the evidence of a body, Haigh (Clunes)
discovers a way to get rid of potential victims by using sulphuric
acid. He first kills his friend, Donald McSwan (Neil McKinven), in
order to assume control of his business, but in order to increase
his finances Haigh takes a number of further victims. When those
who knew the deceased become suspicious a criminal investigation is
launched and it looks as though Haigh's murderous ways will finally
be put to a stop.
THE ROAD BACK TO GRACE is a book for anyone who feels defeated and
broken because of their past. Feelings of guilt, self-doubt and
condemnation from others, keeps us from healing from our past. For
some, it boils down to the need to humbly seek forgiveness for our
wrongs, and know that God will renew our life with hope, joy and
peace. That is the Road Back To Grace THE ROAD BACK TO GRACE guides
counselors in compassionate intervention for those who need healing
from their past. THE ROAD BACK TO GRACE shares how drinking, drugs,
divorce or just a damaged testimony can keep Christians from
feeling that they are accepted by God and others. When these
believers turn back to God, He promises to fully restore and heal
them THE ROAD BACK TO GRACE includes Seven Study Guides for
indivudal study, for church study groups, ParaChurch groups, or
Pregnancy Resource Center Staff on how to help others find healing
from their past. The Seven Study Guides related to six biblical
case studies of individuals who found healing from their past
(restoration). 1- Zacchaeus Honored The Right Invitation (
Zacchaeus sought the Lord, and found the Lord was seeking Him)
2-David Had The Right Heart (David was humble, repentant, a man
after God's own heart) 3-Peter Heard The Right Message ("Feed my
sheep") 4-The Jewish Woman Held The Right Course ("Go and sin no
more") 5-Paul Heralded The Right Truth ("But for the grace of God
there go I") 6-Isarel Hoped in The Right God (Through the prophet
Joel,God promised to restore Israel from the locust destruction if
they turned back to Him) 7-The Prodigal Son Headed Back On The
Right Road (He went home, and was welcomed by his father)
Full Restoration is not just another book about divorce. It is
unique in that it appeals to the church to see men differently who
have sinned by divorce in their past. It is a book to set men free
who are hurting, post-confession and repentance, to see that they
can be used in ministry again. Full Restoration challenges the
traditional interpretation of 1 Timothy 3: 2 suggesting that a man
who has sinned by divorce in his past is not qualified for
ministry. While this goes against the voice and reason of all of
Scripture, it also violates the intention and grammar of 1 Timothy
3: 2. The pastoral aspirant is to be one who is a "one woman kind
of man." It emphasizes this man's present character, not his past
sin. There is not a place in the Bible that says men who have
sinned in their past lose their giftedness and even with confession
and repentance cannot be effective in ministry again. God's
forgiveness and restoration is complete. Even Jesus told Peter
after his denial with cursing, "Feed my sheep" May this book help
counselors, pastors and church leaders to help men, truly called of
God, back to effective places of ministry. May the church see its
need to discontinue seeing these precious forgiven and gifted
saints as second class citizens...but restored persons who will
feed Jesus' sheep
